Do I need a reservation?
Our studio welcomes walk-ins! We also offer the option to book your appointment! Now you can book a time to ensure you have a table, and approximate how long you’ll be there! You can do so here or at the book now button at the top of our homepage!

Are there classes?
As of 9/19 the answer is not yet :) I am oping to schedule Lessons with other artists for Wednesday nights starting in November!

When are your events?
As of now (September), I’m hoping to have twice a month store events scheduled, like Taskmaster parties including painting tips and tricks, movie nights, perhaps live performance nights… who knows?

How long does it take?
That really depends on the artist! Depending on the piece you chose and the level of detail you apply the process can take anywhere from 1 hour to several hours! Our junior artists (7 and under) tend to finish within an hour!

What is the average cost of a studio visit?
Our prices are all inclusive! All you pay for are the pieces which range in price from as low as $15 to our larger pieces at the $50.

Can I look at what's available before I come in?
Yes! You can visit our inventory page here and you can see finished examples on our inspire me page!

What if I'm not confident in my artistic ability?
Have no fear! The Pottery Spottery has a number of tools, inspiration books and friendly employees to inspire you.

How do I get there - public transporation
Whether you are heading from north or south Philly, take the Broad Street line to the Tasker-Morris stop. Exit to the southeast corner and walk one block south to Moore Street. Walk a little more than 1 block east and turn right on Passyunk. You will find us located on Passyunk Avenue next to Stogie Joe’s.

How do I get there - by automobile
Navigate to the intersection of Moore Street and Passyunk Avenue. Turn onto Passyunk Avenue heading north, there will be a municipal parking lot at the intersection. Once parked, walk south along Passyunk one block until you reach our storefront just south of Stogie Joe’s.

Where do you source your bisque

Will things be food safe after they're fired?
Yes, everything will be food safe once it’s fired. Dishwasher and microwave are not recommended, if you choose to do either, please note that your piece may crack.
